More about me

My path to the creation of Lasting Strides Running Performance began as a competitive, All-State level high school runner in Connecticut. My introduction to the sport quickly lead to a passion for running, but it also brought a lot of injuries with my many miles.

These injuries lead to rehabilitation, which inspired me to become a physical therapist years later. Now, through my years of practice as a physical therapist, I have seen first hand the struggle that many of my patients have had returning back to their former levels of running without the proper guidance. It isn’t your healthcare provider’s or trainer’s fault that they aren’t a runner or don’t fully understand your passion and desire to run, but wouldn’t you like to work with someone who does?

This is what inspired me to begin this coaching service: a way to use my knowledge of anatomy and injuries, my background in strength and conditioning and exercise science, and experience of running programming and training to provide the guidance and coaching you deserve. Let me help coach you back to running the way you want to, without injury.

My education and training includes:

  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut

  • Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut

  • Continuing education in running related injuries and programming for runners.
